Pressure Die Casting (PDC)

SCL started its pressure die casting operations in the early eighties recognizing the advantages of the pressure die casting process. Since, then the company has grown in its scale of operations. Today SCL has an installed capacity of 14000MT per annum with over 51 automatic PDC machines, making SCL a unique supplier with the widest range of pressure die casting machines in the sub-continent

The locking force of these machines has a range of 250T to 2700T and components ranging from 0.25kg to 22kgs are produced in these. The machines are equipped with shot monitoring and control for process optimization and quality assurance. The pressure die casting infrastructure is additionally supported by fettling (trimming) cells , cutting & linishing , slot blasting &  vibro finishing and buffing.
